Rallies @ Scrabo

In 2017 we celebrated 50 YEARS OF RALLY at Scrabo Hall. Rally is a church-based uniformed organisation for children and young people from the ages of four to eighteen. We offer a life-changing programme of weekly activities and residential camps.

Tiny Tots

Tiny Tots is an uniformed organisation for both boys and girls from 3 years old to 6 years(P2). We meet on a Tuesday night from 6:20pm to 7:30pm.

At Tiny Tots our evening is full of craft, games, badge work, singing & Bible stories.  We have special evenings when we have visits from the police, dental nurse or the Hedgehog Hospital.

Tiny Tots is a fun, safe place to be, where the children are valued for who they are.

Junior Every Girls Rally (JEGR)

Junior Girls meets on Tuesday nights at 6.20-7.30pm and is for girls from P3 to P7. We have a varied fun programme of singing, games, craft, sports, badgework and each week a bible story.

Junior Every Boys Rally (JEBR)

Junior every boys rally is held weekly on Thursday evenings from 6:30 until 7:40pm.

We meet in the sports hall to the rear of Scrabo hall for an exciting and varied programme of activities. Any boys attending p3 through to p7 are very welcome.

We aim to promote each boys physical , educational and spiritual wellbeing . On a typical night we hold sports nights including football , unihoc , dodgeball , assault courses and much more . Outings include ten pin bowling , swimming , pirate golf , and softplay . Also at the end of each year of rally the boys have the opportunity to attend a weekend camp , a real highlight of our year !

Part of our program allows the boys to work towards achievements like badgework , best boy trophies , scripture cups , leaders awards and citizenship awards . all given out at our keenly awaited parents night.

We believe the most important times spent together with the boys are in the memorizing of God’s word , and lessons given each week from the bible . We believe it is important for the boys who come each week to understand that God has a plan for their lives , and to embark on that path they first need to give their lives over to their creator.

Senior Every Girls Rally (SEGR)

SEGR (Senior Every Girls Rally) is a uniformed organisation for girls in years 8-14. We meet on a Tuesday evening (term time) at 7.45pm – 9.15pm. We organise various activities such as craft, badge work, cookery, sports and games. Each evening we have either a Bible based talk or group studies.

Senior Every Boys Rally (SEBR)

Senior EBR is an organisation for boys in years 8-14. Every Thursday evening from September to Easter we run a varied programme including Football, Games, Challenges, Outings and Group Studies.

Two of the highlights each year are:

1. Inter Rally Football competition. The tournaments are split between an Under14 and an Over14 Division. Competition is always tough from churches such as Woodford (Armagh), Crescent Church (Belfast), Bethany (Finaghy) and of course Scrabo (Newtownards). 

2. Summer Camp. The summer camp is normally a joint camp with the Senior Girls and some years a full church camp is arranged. However in 2017 the Senior Boys decided to take to the Mourne Mountains for a camping trip that will go down in History!! 2018 was also a special year as every 4 years Arura is held with all churches joining together for one large camp!!
