Children with special needs

Our vision is to connect children with special needs and their families with the church community in Scrabo. We have a number of committed volunteers experienced in working with children with a variety of special needs. If you would like to attend church or send your child to some of the youth works, please get in touch.

Connect leaders are available to run a special needs session for children aged 4 – 11 during our family service from 11.30am – 12.15pm. We would love to welcome you and if you would like to attend please get in touch beforehand to help us best meet the needs of your child.

Kids Quest Connect

Kidz Quest Connect is for children aged 4 – 11 with additional needs who cannot access the mainstream Kids Quest programme.  This may be due to sensory difficulties, learning difficulties or behavioural difficulties.

Connect seeks to provide a suitable environment, designed to accommodate smaller numbers of children with modified sensory stimulation. Lessons are designed to capture profound Biblical truths in a simple and accessible way.

The programme is carefully structured with activities graded to an appropriate level for each of individual child. We recognise each child has individual needs so please get in touch to discuss how we can best welcome you and your child.
